In short, Mounjaro is considered very effective. Mounjaro works by affecting your appetite, making you feel fuller for longer. Ultimately, this will help you lose weight over some time.
Researchers estimate that people can lose up to 26.6 of their body weight when taking Mounjaro, which is an average weight loss of 60 pounds in under two years. The results appear to be more impressive than other weight loss medications such as Ozempic and Wegovy.
It can take anything from 8 to 12 weeks to start seeing results, but most patients will start to feel benefits even within the first couple of weeks. At Dr Frank’s Weight Loss Clinic, our patients tend to lose up to 20% of their body weight in the first year.
